Where the knowledge comes from
We collect material from configured channels, publications, and approved platforms. Each published item links to its original source. A source’s inclusion is not an endorsement of everything it says.
What AI does
AI helps select useful material, organize it by topic, and explain its practical implications. Living guides synthesize multiple sources. Code checks quotations and timestamps; guide revisions also undergo evidence and usefulness review.
An AI-generated takeaway is a paraphrase, not a quotation. General advice and editorial interpretation are distinct from documented facts.
Evidence is more than repetition
Firsthand experience, original research, expert interpretation, community experience, and secondary reporting answer different questions. Repeating a claim across several sources does not independently prove it.
Living guides
Guides change when evidence adds something meaningful: a useful method, a correction, a qualification, or a new example. Major changes require approval. Publication dates are not refreshed simply to make a page appear new.
Founder perspectives
Startup Expert can discuss selected founders’ documented ideas. These are AI-assisted explanations, not personal advice, impersonations, or endorsements from those founders. When supporting evidence is absent, the assistant should say so.
Corrections
If you find an unsupported claim or attribution error, contact Cliff Lerner with the page URL and the material in question. Invalid evidence is reviewed, and affected content may be corrected or withheld.
Your conversations
Chat history is kept in your browser session. Questions and relevant context are sent to our AI provider to generate replies. We do not retain raw visitor conversations by default. Operational logs track requests, usage, and failures.
